Flex Cover Installation
Revision 1 - December 10, 2023Pro-tip, if you will be connecting a 12V external power source, rotate the rubber external jack cover now to make plugging the cord in easier in step 9.
If you have purchased an antenna holder, locate it and place the wider end on the antenna, facing the camera. This holder will hold your antenna in any position you wish to leave it.
Place the antenna and antenna holder into the cover’s antenna slot.
Line up the left snap with the camera’s left strap holder.
5. Pick the cover and the camera up and orient the camera so it is facing downwards
6. Put your right thumb in the middle of the cover just above the cut out for the ¼-20 mount
7. Place your right index finger on the snap holder of the side that is not yet secure
8. Push with your thumb while pulling back on the snap until the snap is secure in the right strap holder, as shown in the photo
9. If you are using a 12V external power source feed the plug through the zip tie and into the 12V auxiliary port on the camera. Then pull the zip tie tight in order to anchor it in place. If desired trim the excess zip tie.
